Be sure that the permission to the attachment field is set to include either
"Public" or "General Access" (depending on which ARS version you are using).

ARS usually runs under the local system account on Windows - this account
probably does not have permissions to access the shared drive.  You may need
to set ARS to run as a specific user (via the services control panel entry
for the service) if you cannot access the file locally on the server.

Hi,

i face error "File pointer is NULL or not a valid file pointer (ARERR 295)"
when i use $PROCESS$ PERFORM-ACTION-ADD-ATTACHMENT 1000000253 <Shared File
Path> in a filter when try to attach a file from shared path even if i map
it as a network drive.
any ideas
