I agree with Rick. I'd use Share Point with that. In fact, you could pretty easily build a Remedy application with a view field that referenced a Share Point Document Library for the attachments so it would be somewhat transparent to the end user. What you are talking about is not just a limitation of Remedy, but also in how Office is set up to better integrate with Share Point.
