Making them not available will prevent them from being visible in the group you 
add them to, they may still receive notifications
 
Making them incident master is best but has wider implications

I dont want to add them to other groups, adding them to other grooup would mean 
they will see all the the other groups tickets in their support console and 
notificacations etc..

You could add them to the other group or give them Incident Master 
permissions.  I find this utility very helpful when defining roles and 
permissions.

I have two Help Desk support groups and want to allow the members of one group 
to modify tickets of the other group. Is there anyway you can configure ITSM to 
allow you to do this without having to modify any workflow?
