The "Report Type" of "AR System" should run without any additional software. The "Report Type" of "Crystal" requires BOXI/Crystal Report Server to function.
The error message implies that the value in the Report Settings config page field called "Reporting Working Directory*" might be missing or invalid. I'd start there.
