BMC Remedy does support multiple AR System servers on the same physical machine. There was a defect in AR System 7.5.00 that kept this from being supported at GA, but AR System 7.5.00 Patch 001 corrected that.
https://communities.bmc.com/communities/message/142165#142165 For 7.6.04, the process is covered in Chapter 7 of the Install Guide. "Installing multiple instances of BMC Remedy AR System on one computer Using the ARSuiteKit installer, you can install BMC Remedy AR System features (for example, the BMC Remedy AR System server, Email Engine, and Approval Server) in multiple directories on one computer." -David J. Although if you really wish to try then just create a system alias and install the new AR Server with this alias just as you can install ARS 7.1 multiple times on the same server. Its a good try to see if it works. Thanks, Vikram Daniel Condrea wrote: > > Hello all, > > I am in difficult situation. We have to upgrade the actual ARS server from > version 7.1 to version 7.6.04.
