Subject: Re: Install another ARS on the same machine

BMC Remedy does support multiple AR System servers on the same physical
machine. There was a defect in AR System 7.5.00 that kept this from being
supported at GA, but AR System 7.5.00 Patch 001 corrected that.

For 7.6.04, the process is covered in Chapter 7 of the Install Guide.

"Installing multiple instances of BMC Remedy AR System on one computer

Using the ARSuiteKit installer, you can install BMC Remedy AR System features
(for example, the BMC Remedy AR System server, Email Engine, and Approval
Server) in multiple directories on one computer."

Subject: Re: Install another ARS on the same machine

hi,

As far i know BMC Remedy ARS has stopped support for multiple AR Servers on
the same machine 76x onwards.

Although if you really wish to try then just create a system alias and
install the new AR Server with this alias just as you can install ARS 7.1
multiple times on the same server. Its a good try to see if it works.

Thanks,
Vikram
