HI Kali,

AIE is definitly the way to go when loading Assets into the CMDB from a
.csv.    You can select a 'Data Exchange Type' of "CI", this will allow you
to select the CMDB Class you want to import into, (such as Computer
System).  You then specify the path to your .csv.  Then it is easy to set up
your mappings, you have a screen with the Class attributes on one side, and
the csv columns on the other side.   Just select one from eac side and add.

Look for the AIE User Guide and Admin Guide on the BMC Site.
