An interesting update from the plugin stdout file: Java plug-in server is initializing all plugins for 5 core threads. <BMC.CLOUD.ARDBCPLUGIN>:initialize(): Error with root URL null - null. <BMC.CLOUD.ARDBCPLUGIN>:initialize(): Error with root URL null - null. <BMC.CLOUD.ARDBCPLUGIN>:initialize(): Error with root URL null - null. <BMC.CLOUD.ARDBCPLUGIN>:initialize(): Error with root URL null - null.
Looks like the resource pool is 80% defective. Any ideas on why initialization would fail 4 out of 5? I tried reducing the pool to 1 core thread but that failed to initialize as well. The plugin is used with a vendor form that that displays data from another Remedy instance. Both Remedy instances are up and running fine. The plugin however stopped working with an 8755 error; well, stopped working for the most part. Yesterday I found the plugin will retrieve the data 20% of the time in a rather persistent pattern: 4 misses followed by 1 hit, repeatedly. BMC is reviewing logs but nothing stands out. I would not be surprised to find it to be an issue with our environment. One manager suggested some round robin activity may be occurring with 80% of the resource pool defective. The plugin is a BMC product and we are running 7.6.04. Any ideas?
