I added a few new columns to the overview console, but not entirely trouble 
free.
If I added an existing field to the console I could sort the column without 
issue.
If added a custom field to the console and tried to sort on the column a 311 
error (Field ID is not related to this form) would be thrown. The data 
displayed without error-just could not sort. The sort problem was only in the 
web, the WUT had no issue.  I never did find a solution for the problem. BMC 
was able to replicate the error but informed me that there was no solution and 
that it problem would not be addressed in the current version.

You have to do a couple of things.

1. You need to create a new field in SHR:ARDBC_OverviewConsole, if the
field is not already there

2. You need to map the field id of that field to its corresponding field
in the source form. This is done in SHR:ARDBCFields. Look at the existing
records to figure out which id goes where, and which tag corresponds to
your source form.

For example the tags for Incident, Problem and Change are MAINHELPDESK,
MAINPROBLEM and MAINCHANGE.

You will probably need to restart your plugin server when this has been
accomplished.

After this you should be able to add the new column to SHR:OverviewConsole.
