We had a similar requirement for which we end up doing a small customization. basically we added a table field on the work info dialog which will refreshes to show all the workinfo entries of the incidient ticket. And if you select the row from the table field then it displays that workinfo entrie's details on the fields above the table field. It is a simple customization.
