Joe, I think Smiley is heading down the wrong path using Direct SQL. Seems like what Smiley really wants to do can be done with a push fields.

The Properties of the field should display the Database ID of that field. The Database ID is your column number that you are seeking.. I find it a lot easier to list these using the SQL that I gave you earlier..
