That’s probably one of the most unique requests I have heard from a customer wishing to move to RoD. The whole point of RoD over RoP is that you want to eliminate the higher costs of maintenance, so why would you have such a unique requirement where you have a setup on premise as well as one off premise? Just curious. I’m sure you have a business case, I would like to know what that is which may give me further insights to possible uses of RoD in a mixed mode like you are suggesting..

I know we could use web services. However, i am trying to evaluate other options as well like DSO. - Karthik On 14 September 2012 23:30, John Baker <[email protected]> wrote: > It's not a yes or a no because the question isn't a yes or no question. The question seemed pretty clear and simple: Does RoD support the AR System DSO feature? Potential answers: Yes, no. Personally, I think the answer is no, and I can appreciate why it would seem odd to use a replication service to a customer's AR System instance when the point of outsourcing is the customer doesn't need to run anything locally. _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug12 www.wwrug12.com ARSList: "Where the Answers Are"
