If you are running the report from within Remedy then the answer is
neither. Crystal Report server is not involved.

The report would be produced by the Crystal Reports Developer-which I
would expect you bought. But running the report in Remedy requires no
additional licence from SAP. As you are the developer you created the
report but that is irrelevant to its running or licencing. The same is
true for CRS, the licence there is a user licence and not a report
licence. A licenced user can import and run any CR report in CRS.

Subject: Crystal Report Licensing

**

Hi All,

I need to know the license requirements for the Crystal Report server
to use with ITSM 7.6.04 OOB. If I create a report in the Report Console,
set the report type to Crystal and save. As far as the Crystal report
Server is concerned who just created the report?, Remedy or mbrittain?

In case it makes a difference I have two AR Servers in a server group
and two load balanced mid-tiers.

If anyone has some general guidelines or a good reference that would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mark
