Hello Victor,

Actually, Atrium SSO configuration requires changes to be done for both
AR System and Midtier.

From the mail below, it looks like you have only done the changes to
integrate AR System with Atrium SSO but not Midtier.

Follow the steps which below URL directs, to get Atrium SSO integration
work

https://docs.bmc.com/docs/display/public/sso80/Integrating+BMC+Atrium+Single+Sign-On+with+AR+System

Brief of the steps given below :

                        1. Configure external authentication in the AR System
server.
                        2. Install the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server.
                        3. Configure BMC Atrium Single Sign-On integration.
                        4. Configure the mid tier for BMC Atrium Single Sign-On
user authentication. ( I suspect this is what you missed to do)
                        5. Configure the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server for
AR System integration
                        6. Run a health check of the integration.

Let us know in case you still find any issue.

Regards,

Ripu Daman Bhadoria

Subject: Atrium SSO Configuration Issues

Hello Listers,

I'm trying to configure Atrium SSO for AR System Integration.

I followed the instructions and performed the tasks listed on
https://docs.bmc.com/docs/display/public/sso80/Configuring+the+BMC+Atrium+Single+Sign-
On+server+for+AR+System+integration.
I can see the AR users and groups in Subjects part, I can even successfully
log in using https://AtriumSSOFQDNHostName:port/atriumsso?realm=BmcRealm and
relevant AR system username and password.
I configured the Atrium SSO Integration tab of Server Information from AR
System Administration Console.
When I tried to log in to AR system using
http://MidtierFQDNHostName:port/arsys I received the following error message:

BMCSSG1511E: Failed to access agent attribute (sunidentityserverdevicestatus)
from server (org.json.JSONException:
JSONObject["sunidentityserverdevicestatus"] not found.).

My ../debug/Authentication file shows

amAuth:01/27/2013 01:11:55:683 PM CET: Thread[Thread-2,5,main]
ERROR: Exception creating session .. :
...(here java.lang.NullPointerException)
ERROR: Failed to login to
https://AtriumSSOFQDNHostName:8443/atriumsso/authservice
..
ERROR: Authentication failed.

Can someone please help me to resolve the issue?

AR System/ITSM 8.0.0 on Win2008 OS; MS SQL Server 2008; Tomcat 6

Thanks and regards,

Victor
