Hi, Incident id gets generated when you save the incident. We are storing the other information of incident in multiple forms (i.e. tables) to maintain the relationship with incident we need unique value and this is resolve by using Instance ID field as it is unique.

My question is, when we have Request ID which is unique and can be manipulative to become incident ID . Then what is the use of Incident ID and Instance Id.
