Hi All,

we installed artifactory and are very happy with it in combination with
maven3 and bamboo.

*But*

We have an ancient maven1-repo where there are hundres of artifacts that we
now need to have access to in our new builds.

We've configured a remote-repository in artifactory that points to the old
repo and tries to map the old to the new layout using the defaults:
Local Layout: maven-2-default
Remote Layout: maven-1-default

If I go via the simple browse I can find the artifacts I need under the
global "repo" but they don't turn up in searches or if I try to retrieve
them with Maven.

If I browse I can find them here:
http://artifactory:8081/artifactory/repo/sci-commons/jars/sci-commons-misc-1.0.jar

But in the maven requests log it looks like it's trying to pull them from an
invalid location :
/repo/sci-commons/sci-commons-misc/1.0/sci-commons-misc-1.0.jar

20130220151701|11|REQUEST|192.168.x.x|non_authenticated_user|GET|/repo/sci-commons/sci-commons-misc/1.0/sci-commons-misc-1.0.pom|HTTP/1.1|404|0
20130220151701|13|REQUEST|192.168.x.x|non_authenticated_user|GET|/repo/sci-commons/sci-commons-misc/1.0/sci-commons-crypto-1.0.jar|HTTP/1.1|404|0

How can I make this work?
Cheers
Jack...
