In ASCEND we currently use SWIG for all our C-to-Python bridging. I believe that SWIG runs on Mac as well. One concern I have with the ASCEND-for-Mac project is that it might turn out to be only a couple of weeks of work. We need to know if this is likely to occur, and if so, we need to extend to project to ensure that we get full value out of the allocated time.
