This was covered in my recommendations when I said "customised Asciidoc left with the Python implementation". Are you sure you can't get the rendering change with CSS and make it implementation independent? Its the problem with customisations, they will be implementation specific unless one day someone makes an extension to the Asciidoc specification that defines how to make customisation in a way that is not implementation specific, but that seems unlikely. > So I can't use Asciidoctor, and will continue to use Asciidoc while I > research a replacement. Continuing to use Asciidoc Python is the right thing to do until you can make the same customisations with another implementation (in its different implementation specific way). > > So, thanks Stuart for Asciidoc (and yakup :-) ), and, to certain other > people, thanks for nothing. If Asciidoc Python is so important to you step up and be a maintainer, but don't expect that others maintain it for you. Or if Asciidoctor is missing something you need help to add it. > > Eric > -- > ms fnd in a lbry > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "asciidoc" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected]. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/group/asciidoc. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "asciidoc" group.
