-27 Nov, Pune edition TOI covers a shadowy picture of this in it's front page.
It's a half baked article. Descriptions in page 13 doesn't suffice either. The
origin of the whole incident never made it to the front page of Pune edition!!!
But this one did!!!
No sympathies for the ones involved in making this a barbaric incident!!!
But this article puts "general people" of Assam in bad light. I've written to
the editor although I know nothings gonna change in the near future.
TOI's attitude towards Asaam and the NE in general really hurts me. It's always
ahead in bad publicity. We rarely get to see good things about Assam or the NE
in TOI!
And yes, TV News agencies are full steam ahead on this!!!
May be we can keep trying ... by writing to these print/TV media.
