Apparently this year Assam Government has failed to provide an account to GOI where it had spent about 117 Crores of funds for Tea Tribes during the past several years, and as a result GOI threatened not to release anymore fund from 2008 for the Tea Tribe without the account details.
Observe that funds for OBC were utilized professionally. Tarun Gogoi holds the Finance Ministry Portfolio as well who is a OBC.
