Friends,
Deeply regretted to the ignorance of our assamese or NE people about the
outside world, specially when India is concerned.Alarmingly now south Indian
cities of Madras,Bangalore is gearing up to rob our people with honesty.
A man comes from Golaghat to Apollo Hospitals Bangalore at banerghatta Rd opp
IIMB for some treatment of heart membrane fluid deposit.The Cardiology Dr
Prasad diagnosed as TB(Tuberculosis),while all the relevent tests declared
negative for TB.he insisted that ATT( anti- tuberculosis treratment) is being
carried out in such cases all over India??? By then the man spent Rs.1 lakhs.He
was discharged.Without having suffering from TB and taking ATT, his condition
worsened.he was about to go for Coma.Again he was rushed to Apollo
Hospitals.Same Dr Prasad tld later to stop ATT as he is not suffering from TB,
now its something else.he wa taken to ICU and the hospital stard harrassing
when they came to know he is from Assam, with no known person in Bangalore.A
huge more money was demanded everyday.
Somehow his son was informed by some social assamese at Bangalore about me and
I just returned from the jungles ending a big camp.Immediately I have given him
all the clue to fight against Apollo, including given him contact of Deccan
Herald editor etc.Advised him to shift to Narayana Hrudalaya, but Apollo
refused discharge.My another close Sr.cardiologist friend Dr.Gopi was away on
leave.I asked the man to call him and took help.Apollo staff prevented them to
meet Dr Gopi also.Finally all settled, Dr Gopi offered help today.Later the
concerned Dr.Prasad smelt foul with him with his alert mind and cool down,
stopped asking more money and did lot at free.The man is set to get discharged,
but days spent un necessary in Apollo is of loss of big hard earn money.
Same time I was told by this patients son that another man came here from Assam
for some stomach pain etc.After having being investigted thoroughly, they said
his appendix is normal.Whilst his appendicectomy done long ago in Assam!!! They
immediately vanished from the hospital.
In this crucial time of cheating to people of NE by Indians,by the management
colleges,Hospitals all over, I sincerely request people to find out the good
doctor or college through us.Please dont come by the brand name of the
hospital.Bangalore dnt have that much good doctors comparing to large booming
up hospitals.Pleae dont show money power here.Then one is fully robbed
off.Please dnt cry later for help- I am also helpless.I can do charity to
provide best informations wher to go- NOT to fight alone for everyone.There are
associations etc to communicate.I wish all of us should stand united.
