I should have provided references with the comment originally. I believe that the documentation in MVS Programming: Workload Management Services (SA22-7619-1) related to the following macros provides the information needed to create zIIP-eligible enclave SRBs. iwm4con Iwmclsfy Iwm4ecre Once the enclave is created Ieamschd can be used to initiate the SRB. I'm sure that only a small portion of the zIIP interface can be gleaned from this manual and that it does not document how to allocate the percentage of time the SRB runs on the zIIP. I'm in the process of dumping some SMF data to validate that the SRB does actually accumulate zIIP time. Once the SMF data is dumped, I will send a follow up note confirming or deniying my statement.
