Been there done that - I like that fix description. In-house system (non VTAM) exit was "pseudo" rent - took about 40 minutes to trash VTAM (as it happened ... :-) Had run fine for months, but two copies of the exit just happened to kick off in a (very) small time interval after a re-IPL. Serious mongrel to diagnose ... Shane ...
