Seeing a how BTAM is no longer available (can't order it), how do you
use UNIT=device? Oh, EXCP? Burr! That is definitely not for a beginner.
Also, since I'd be surprised if there are many non-SNA 3270 displays
still in active use, it becomes even more difficult. Most users of 3720
today use TN3270. Which requires VTAM as best as I can tell. Well, at
least in z/OS. I am not very literate about z/VM. I guess you could run
z/OS under z/VM and "dial" into z/OS to present a non-SNA 3270 device.
Or maybe via an ICC or Visara type controller which emulates a local
3174 controller.
