More precisely, the plural of "lacuna" with the ligature "ae" as Tony himself already pointed out. Some of those 309 hits are probably due to the same transformations. I wonder how many medical students will end up writing it as "lacunć" just because of broken mail agents :-) Just like you find lots of hits for the word "cow-orker" in Google, and worse: http://wackypedia.wikia.com/wiki/Cow-orker I configured Windows so I can switch my US keyboard to German layout so I can type the ü and ß where applicable. That also swaps the Z and Y keys (among some others) and sometimes I am too layz to switch the kezboard and continue to tzpe English with the German lazout :-) That also creates some unique words...
