You're right, the RP instruction is irrelevant. I found it through the BEAR and was unsure how the actual instruction work which is why I started this conversation.
It's a 0C4 PIC11. I was wrong in my previous post. The exception address is key 0 and fetch protected which would definitely be the source of the 0C4. However, I don't understand why it is x'0800' higher than the effective operand address.
