Agreed, however, like I said, that kind of kills the concept of using the PenaltyBox in that case for the actual purpose for which it was intended. So you would end up with the ability to block individual emails, but then no longer have the PB to apply to misbehaving IPs in general. So then the question remains, is it worth the added efforts of adding in a "Penalty Box per email" feature so that you can use both - scoring on a per-email basis, and scoring on a per-IP basis. I personally don't know the answer; I'm tending to believe that it would be useful to have scoring on a per-email basis, but I am relatively new to antispam techniques, and don't know if that really would be useful or not in the long run.
