I believe Fritz is just attempting to warn any users of ASSP X that the Beta ASSP is being used. It's bad for another product to be using a beta with no explanation that it is. Their users may think badly about ASSP if they are having problems. Where if they know it's a Beta they can expect issues and would know to give feedback in the appropriate places.
Many users would rather just stick to stable releases and not have to mess with Beta's.
