I still don't think you get the "Big picture".

Here's what you need to do:
1. Disable "Use Subject as Maillog Names".
2. Set MaxFiles to 14000 (or 20000 if you really feel you need it).
3. Set MaxBytes to 4000.
4. Schedule Rebuildspamdb.pl to run.

MaxFiles=the amount of emails stored in each folder (spam/notspam)
MaxBytes=the amount of bytes of each of the above emails to keep (because ASSP
doesn't need the whole email to build its database)
Use Subject as Maillog Names=If you want to manage the collection yourself
(only for someone starting to use ASSP for the first time, not for someone with
a complete collection).

Like Fritz said, if you want a record of your emails, you should have them
copied to an email account. Do not rely on the spam/notspam folders for this.

"How can I let ASSP automatic rebuild spam db when it reach i.e 20000 emails?"
I am using 1.4.1 and I schedule Rebuildspamdb.pl to run twice a day. Some
people only do it once.

By "letting ASSP manage", it means simply that as new spam/ham comes in, it
automatically overwrites existing ones already in the spam/notspam folders.
The next time you run rebuildspamdb.pl, it will use that new information to
build an up-to-date database.

Kind Regards,
Brett

I will follow this and test.

In the web interface under "Other Settings", check the values for for
MaxFiles & MaxBytes

        * MaxFiles should be set to 14000
        * MaxBytes should be set to 4000

If your values are larger you should change them to the recommended
settings above.

How about " how can I let ASSP automatic rebuild spam DB when it reach
i.e 20000 emails?"
