yeah, buy a second line - no need to pick a T-1, just ensure it
has a decent bandwith for emergency usage and that it is
totally separated from the main one; then setup a second ASSP
box on that line and ensure that both the main ASSP and the
backup one share the same database (yes, you'll need to
setup ASSP with the backend database); at this point just
add a secondary MX record to your DNS zone pointing it
to the second ASSP and, if needed, update your SPF record
to allow the second ASSP to send mail for your domain(s)
