I called up to confirm whether it was true, and I was told that I just need to upload a copy of my UK passport and it will be fine. So I took the trouble to registering, faxing forms, jumping through validation hoops and security verifications. I felt that I was applying for a job with the FBI or something. Anyway, after a few hours for paperwork and crediting my account, I was told that I cant have a german ddi because i'm not in germany.
