>From what I can see, Randy Bush asked a question about whether he should use SIP or IAX. It seems that some members of this community are determined to drive him away from IAX and have him use SIP. It would seem to me that anyone new to Asterisk would wonder why a proprietary protocol has been created when SIP is a well established IETF standard. I know the answer, as do many others. If you're unable to post a well reasoned argument for or against IAX then perhaps you should refrain from following up to such questions in the future. People are entitled to ask questions; If no questions were asked then this mail list would not have the volume of articles that it has. -- _/ _/ _/_/_/_/ _/ _/ _/_/_/ _/ _/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/ _/ K e v i n W a l s h _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] _/ _/ _/_/_/_/ _/ _/_/_/ _/ _/ _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
