Don't get me wrong guys, the E61 is a great device and it's really
growing on me. It's just it's not nearly as seamless as I'd like. I
can't get it to autoconnect on the WiFI/SIP (at least not
consistently), even for predefined access points. If it's setup to
dial VOIP calls by default, it won't fail over to GSM automatically.
It's about 90% there, but definitely not something I'd consider
handing out to non-techies. It's definitely something that takes a lot
of fiddling. But the battery life on it is great, especially
considering all the functionality it has. I can get 2 full days out of
it with wifi, bluetooth, and edge/gprs all running (the real battery
life killer is UMTS, which is useless in North America and can be
disabled regardless). I'm hopeful that the next firmware available for
it will resolve a lot of issues with it (I've seemed to have worked
around a lot of the NAT issues I had with it, but a SIP client that
supports STUN is coming in the next firmware release).
