Adding sufffix to the trunk setting

Hi,
 
It's common to add and remove prefix in trunk setting.
But I need to append a '#' to all the numbers dialed thru a given trunk.
 
I tried using 9|NXXXXXXXXX+# in the dial rule for the trunk, but it does
not like it.
Ay suggestion is appreciated.
