Fair enough, but again it seems that iptables would make that easy to manage.

Now a better firewall (multiple connections, etc.) would make my entire point 
moot, but I was thinking more of the general, "small potatoes" kind of setup.  
I've simplified my life in a lot of ways, and one of them is requiring 
businesses who want to do VOIP to have a dedicated link, or my maintenance 
rates are more expensive otherwise.  :-)
