Richard,
In TrixBox, you do it in the Inbound Routes.
There are two easy ways:
- Enter each CID as an Inbound Route:
- If it is for all DID's do not put in a DID number
- then enter the CallerID in , then below select the destination.
OR
- Define a CallerNameLookup Source, and set it to Internal, then in
the tools section use the phone book, and plug in the callerid's to route
- create a single Inbound route that tests the defined source and
select the destination extension
Make your default route go to the menu item you want unknows to go to.

Hi ,
I am trying to distinguish calls from people I know from those who are
calling the first time.
So, here is one way to do it.
Create a list of CIDs and somehow check every incoming CID against
this list, if there is a match, route to extension. If not, route to
another menu.
Would anyone know how this can be done either by script or by FreePBX
or any other ways? I am using trixbox.
Thanks in advance,
Richard
