Greetings from New Delhi, where my HTC S621 (available from Rogers) is working fine. Regular Rogers roaming here is about $4/minute so I've turned off the cellphone function. Instead, I'm using the hotel's wireless and Skype to use the HTC to phone home to Toronto for 0.021 (or so) per minute. In addition to Skype, one can also install Fring, While Fring uses SIP instead of Skype, I've found the program a little flakier, so I don't use it right now. Skype is quite solid and call quality is good. One other piece of free (as in beer) software that I've found extremely helpful is WorldMate (http://www.mobimate.com/) I have occasionally been bothered by the phone's speed, occasionally waiting for operations to complete or programs to load. However, no lock-ups. FWIW, I did the Rogers-blessed upgrade of the HTC to Windows Mobile 6. I don't know if that did anything related to stability, but it does offer a WM version of MS Office. - Evan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
