The HP Ipaq 510 doesnt freeze as much. Problem though
is that the phone volume is very low during SIP calls.
Cell calls, however,
are loud and clear so it must be a software problem.
I've heard that the SIP volume is good if you use the
supplied headset or go
bluetooth. Other than that, i am quite pleased with
it. I use it primarily with Exchange 2007.

Hopefully HP will release a fix for the SIP volume
problem soon and also have an upgrade to WM 6.1.

Mike

Subject: [on-asterisk] The better smart phone out
there

Hello everyone,

Last time I asked this question, HTC phones turned out
to be the better by popular vote but I have seen a few
models that freeze too
often (Windows based). Are there any good phones that
would support Wifi, quad band or at least tri band, be
windows based and don't
freeze as much (for softphones), and have bluetooth
support.

Thanks,
Bruce
