WRT54GS here, running DD-WRT v23 SP2 voip. Works pretty well for a residential solution on DSL.
IIRC, if you dig around the DD-WRT website, they also have a X86 PC version of DD-WRT (sans wireless). This is my backup solution, should my WRT54GS explode...
