Hi all,
Forgive me if this is blasphemous for this list... asterisk-only?
I"m sure some of you have tried/tested alternatives to asterisk, such
as callweaver, freeswitch, whatever...
would you care to share your experiences, comparisons, contrasts
between the various alternatives?
Personally, I am looking for the best solution for a home office
incorporating residential (wife-centric) service, with the possibility of
extending the service to offer residential service to others in the community.
So far I have only experience with asterisk, currently running version 1.4.11
on an and64 desktop with a Linksys wrt54l (openwrt), a Linksys SPA-3102 and two
Aastra's, a 480ict and a 9133i.
If this is too off-topic for this list, please let me know, Simon. And,
if so, others may choose to reply off-list.
