Update: found an error in my minimal zapata.conf. Corrected it to just the
following:

[trunkgroups]

[channels]

context=incoming
signalling=fxs_ks ;was mistakenly set to fxs-ks
language=en
channel => 1-4

However, this still fails, with the same symptoms as before. Commenting out the
channel => line stops Asterisk from crashing on boot.

One question: is detection of the card affected by connection to the PSTN? I
have three of the four FXO ports connected to PSTN lines, using RJ11 to UK
phone jack cables. The card was supplied with RJ11 to UK phone jack converter
dongles, which I am currently not using. Is this the correct way to connect it
all up?

Thanks again for any help anyone can give.

Tom
