To disable DHCP (following instructions I found in an old list > mail), I have not set NODHCP, but have set LOCALDNS, copied > /etc/dnsmasq.conf to /mnt/kd, and added except-interface=eth0 to it. Just to confirm: 1. Setting NODHCP="$INTIF" does not disable DHCP 2. Setting NODHCP="eth0" does not disable DHCP 3. The above are unaffected by setting LOCALDNS=yes 4. Setting LOCALDNS=yes, copying /etc/dnsmasq.conf to /mnt/kd and adding except-interface=eth0 disables DHCP Hope this helps Tom ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list Astlinux-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
