OK back to the same situation again. I've done a fresh install of 0.6.3 and then upgraded to 0.6.5 and I am still having the same very issue. Anyone who dials my number can't hear the "ring" in their phones. Is just silent for them until I pick up the phone and answer.... Is the weirdest thing. Everything works fine in 0.6.2.... But won't work if I upgrade. All I just do is copy the sip.conf and extensions.conf from the previous setup. I have the Net4801 box...

That may be confusing things. Unplug the answering machine and try again. Also what Zaptel hardware are you using?
