As mentioned by Darrick Hartman in his reply of April 19, 2009 (which you quoted), the problem is probably in your dial plan. Asterisk itself changes with time and the newer AstLinux distribution has a newer Asterisk. You may have some deprecated item in your dial plan or simply something that was working because of a now fixed bug in Asterisk.
