Peter,

On 0.6.x, dnsmasq is only (and automatically) enabled when both EXTIF  
(external interface) and INTIF (internal interface) is defined.  With  
only a single interface, EXTIF, dnsmasq is not started.

With 0.7.x this restriction has been removed, both the firewall and  
dnsmasq can be enabled with only a single EXTIF defined.
