Lonnie, Sure I understand, use astlinux since version 0.2.x ;)
In your previous messages you told me that dnsmasq.conf is automatically created found it in etc/dnsmasq.conf symlinked to /tmp/etc/dnsmasq.conf and it is an empty file. When I create my own in /mnt/kd/dnsmasq.conf cat dnsmasq.conf dhcp-range=192.168.0.100,192.168.0.150,255.255.255.0,48h Is ok this way? -Peter ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lonnie Abelbeck" <li...@lonnie.abelbeck.com> To: "AstLinux Users Mailing List" <astlinux-users@lists.sourceforge.net> Sent: Monday, July 13, 2009 12:49 AM Subject: Re: [Astlinux-users] Dnsmasq > > On Jul 12, 2009, at 5:17 PM, Peter Roelandts wrote: > >> But than still no luck dnsmasq is now complain : >> grep dnsmasq /var/log/messages >> Jan 8 06:07:14 pbx daemon.crit dnsmasq[1534]: cannot open or create >> lease >> file /var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases: No such file or directory >> Jan 8 06:07:14 pbx daemon.crit dnsmasq[1534]: FAILED to start up >> >> Any clues? > > No, the lease file is usually at /var/db/dnsmasq.leases .
