Fernando, Personally, I have tested FOP2 using HTTP with Firefox on OS X, Linux and Windows with success. Additionally I have tested iOS (iPad and iPod Touch) Safari, Chrome and Internet Explorer. I know others in the AstLinux Team have tested similarly.
BTW, the "F" in FOP2 is historically for 'Flash", the latest FOP2 version we are using defaults to HTML5 WebSockets (ws), not Flash. As the documentation link I referenced earlier, FOP2 with HTTPS using HTML5 Secure WebSockets (wss) works with most all the browsers mentioned, but it may take some tinkering to trust the self-signed SSL certificate for Secure WebSockets in most browsers. The current version of Chrome does not complain if the Secure WebSocket SSL certificate can't be validated by default, so it works without tinkering. I was able to use FOP2 with HTTPS on an iPad by installing the AstLinux self-signed CA certificate. It seems the standards community has not agreed on how to handle Secure WebSockets (wss) certificates by default, Chrome takes the trusting default while other browsers take the untrusting default.
