Right, so it's likely something like: * what power states the BIOS tries to place the NIC into at poweron; * what the power state / reset timing looks like; * Maybe APSM related stuff? It could also be something weird with how Linux/BSD/other handle things. There may be some workarounds that can be done in the PCI bus setup code. Are you able to provide me with exactly the board + BIOS details? Maybe it's something I can kick to the guys in the lab to check.
