Hi Paul, Your summary of the situation seems reasonable. Most people to seem generally in favour of the idea, but the implementation is causing the heat. Much of the discussion has been along the lines of hypothetical "it will work/it won't work". If the Paces get dropped we'll never know. So why don't we set things up to try it? - both Paces accepted for next draft, with the proviso that it will be revisited after a reasonable trial period. (I personally believe PaceErrVerb to be unlikely to work, but am willing to be convinced).
