I hope you can summarize the discussion on the list after the meeting. It would be especially interesting to hear what the WebDAV folks has to say about the issue.
As far as I can tell, many of the "WebDAV folks" (Greg, Lisa, Stefan, myself) are following this list anyway. If the question was: "is there any significant problem defining new HTTP methods?", then my answer is: "none at all".
